Free Webinar on Measurement of Active and Sedentary Behaviors: Closing the Gaps in Self-report Measures
On behalf of the Applied Research Program, Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS), the Epidemiology and Genetics Research Program (EGRP) would like to make cancer epidemiologists aware of a free state-of-the-science Webinar on July 21, 2010 focused on measurement of physical activity.
This six-part Webinar will provide:
- an overview of physical activity as a multidimensional health behavior;
- an in-depth review of methods to measure active and sedentary behaviors by self-report; and
- an exploration of important issues when assessing physical activity in diverse populations.
