NIH Regional Seminars on Program Funding and Grants

Each year, the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) Office of Extramural Research (OER) sponsors two Regional Seminars on Program Funding and Grants intended to help demystify the application and review process, clarify Federal regulations and policies, and highlight current areas of special interest or concern. The Seminars provide education and training for the next generation of biomedical and behavioral scientists. NIH policy, grants management, review and program staff provide a broad array of expertise and encourage personal interaction between themselves and Seminar participants. The Seminars are appropriate for grants administrators, researchers new to NIH, as well as graduate students.

This first Seminar will be held at Arizona State University in Scottsdale, AZ on April 27-29, 2011. The second Seminar will be held June 22-24, 2011 at Florida Atlantic University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Information on the upcoming seminars can be viewed at http://www.nihregionalseminar.comExternal Web Site Policy. Registration is now open for the April Seminar and is anticipated to open in February for the June Seminar.
