Registration Open for Expert Panel Workshop on Early-Life Events and Cancer

Registration is now open for an Expert Panel Workshop on Early-Life Events and Cancer to be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2011, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Rockville, Maryland. The goal of the Workshop is to stimulate and facilitate epidemiological and molecular research in the area of early-life influences and cancer susceptibility in humans. The Expert Panel will address the evidence to date from human and animal studies in this area of research and make recommendations regarding scientific opportunities, gaps in data, and resource needs.

There is no registration fee; however, registration is required and will be limited to 80 participants due to space constraints.

Sponsors of the Workshop include NCI’s Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS) and the Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics (DCEG).
