Symposium: New Insights Into the Causes of Lymphoma

Menzies Hotel, Sydney
Monday 28 July 2008

Call for Abstracts

In 2008, a one day symposium entitled “New insights into the causes of lymphoma” will be held the day prior to the Seventh Annual Meeting of InterLymph investigators. This meeting will be open to all InterLymph investigators, as well as others with an interest in the causes of lymphoma.

The meeting is being organized by the InterLymph Working Groups, the Coordinating Committee, and the Sydney conference convenors. The meeting will take the form of a number of invited presentations across the InterLymph working group areas of Lifestyle and environment, Host and Genetics, Immunity and Infection, Pathology and Survival, Hodgkin’s disease and Multiple Myeloma. Invited presentations will be chosen by the Coordinating Committee, with the active advice and participation of the Working Groups.

In addition to invited presentations, there will be a limited number of places available for oral presentation of new findings of relevance to lymphoma etiology. These may present results, or provisional results, from InterLymph studies, or results from other studies of lymphoma etiology that would be of interest to the InterLymph investigators.

All InterLymph members are invited to submit an abstract.

All submitted abstracts will be judged by the conference organizing committee comprising one representative from each working group, as nominated by the working group. Those presentations that do not receive oral presentations, but are judged as being of sufficient quality, will be invited to prepare a poster for a poster session and reception which will occur at the conclusion of the symposium.

The final date for abstract submission is March 31 2008. If you will have data available only after this date, please contact the conference convenors.

Any questions?
Please send an email to conference co-convenors Claire Vajdic (cvajdic@nchecr.unsw.edu.au) or Andrew Grulich (agrulich@nchecr.unsw.edu.au).
