Description
Established in 2004, the Indiana Health Information Exchange is comprised of various Indiana health care institutions. It was established to help improve patient safety and is recognized as a "best practice" for health information exchange. In addition to running a clinical messaging service, the Indiana Health Information Exchange provides clinical data and quality standards to providers and other key stakeholders in order to achieve the highest quality patient care.
