New Blog Post on Assessing Whether Chronic Disease Patients are at Higher Risk of Cancer
The Epidemiology and Genomics Research Program (EGRP) has published a new post on the Cancer Epidemiology Matters Blog, titled "Do Patients with Chronic Diseases Have a Higher Risk of Developing Cancer?" The author, Yingjun (Grace) Zhou, M.S., is a Cancer Research Training Award Fellow in EGRP's Clinical and Translational Epidemiology Branch.
This post includes a brief discussion of some chronic diseases associated with increased and decreased risks of cancer and links to research resources and funding opportunities available to investigators.
