New Consortium Member

We welcome the Lymphoma Epidemiology of Outcomes (LEO) cohort to the consortium. The LEO study is a prospective observational survivorship cohort of 7,753 newly diagnosed non-Hodgkin lymphoma patients recruited from 8 centers. You can find out more about this study at www.leocohort.org.External Web Site Policy

Thank You for Sharing Your Data!

The Cancer Epidemiology Descriptive Cohort Database (CEDCD), which contains descriptive information about cancer epidemiology cohort studies, both etiology and survivor cohorts, is in the process of being updated. We wanted to send a big thank you to the cohorts who have submitted their data to the CEDCD. We encourage cohort members to complete this task as soon as possible so that the CEDCD has the most up-to-date information. If you have any concerns or questions about the process please send an e-mail to Dr. Rachel Hanisch at NCICohortConsortium@mail.nih.gov.

Nutrition Research News from NIH

The Office of Nutrition Research (ONR) has launched the ONR Nutrition Science Data and Biospecimen Resources Portal, which is designed to advance nutrition science research by promoting access to publicly available datasets, biospecimens, and data analysis tools and resources. The site includes links to several NIH-supported data analysis tools, resources, and repositories that may be helpful to nutrition science researchers.

Announcing Two Upcoming Events - New Associated Member Council (AMC) Webinar & North American Association of Central Cancer Registries (NAACCR) Talk

The next AMC webinar, "Developing and Sustaining Your Research (and Personal) Agenda," will take place on February 23, 2022 from 1:00pm - 2:00pm ET. This AMC webinar will focus on helping AMC members to develop and support their research goals with emphasis on environment and mentoring fit, time management, and systems of accountability. Registration is now open.

A new NAACCR talk, "Updates from Phase II VPR Pilot Studies," will take place on March 7, 2022 from 2:00pm - 3:30pm ET. This talk will present 3 of the Phase II Pilot cohort studies that are linking with registry data via the VPR-CLS.
