Biography

Ms. Tebine Otubu is a Genomic Data Sharing Analyst in the Genomic Epidemiology Branch (GEB) of the Epidemiology and Genomics Research Program (EGRP) in NCI's Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS). In this role, she works to implement the NIH Genomic Data Sharing (GDS) Policy within DCCPS, which includes assisting and educating Program Directors who oversee grants that fall under the policy and helping track grantee policy compliance. Before coming to the NIH, Ms. Otubu worked in the clinical genetics lab world as a Genetic Counseling Program Coordinator at GeneDX and as an Office Coordinator in a physical therapy practice. Her areas of interest include health disparities and reframing the narrative about genetic testing within the minority community.
