Dr. Edwina Wambogo is a Cancer Research Training Award Fellow (CRTA) with the Risk Factor and Assessment Branch (RFAB) in the Epidemiology and Genomics Research Program (EGRP). In this role, she conducts research in the areas of dietary assessment methods, dietary surveillance, and dietary patterns and assists in development and maintenance of publicly available dietary assessment tools developed by RFAB including the Automated Self-Administered Dietary Assessment Tool (ASA24), the Dietary History Questionnaire (DHQ), and dietary screeners.
Prior to joining EGRP, Dr. Wambogo was a program analyst for Kelly Services where she managed NIH’s Computer Access to Research on Dietary Supplements (CARDS) database, working with other NIH staff.
Dr. Wambogo’s doctoral dissertation research focused on food security among older adults in Sub-Saharan Africa.
