Biography

Riya Dave is a Cancer Research Training Award (CRTA) fellow in the Epidemiology and Genomics Research Program’s (EGRP) Risk Factor Assessment Branch (RFAB). In this role, she provides research oversight support for digital health and physical activity initiatives and activities. She has a strong interest in connecting population health with digital health within the field of cancer.

After receiving her bachelor’s degree in computational neuroscience from Princeton University, Ms. Dave received a Fulbright Scholarship from the Indian Institute of Technology. Throughout her studies, she furthered her interest in digital health by building a mental health app for females from underrepresented populations.

Following her scholarship, she became a member of Click Therapeutics’ technology team where she honed her product development and engineering skills. She continued to pursue her interest in cancer epidemiology and population health by becoming a clinical research coordinator for Brown University’s oncology department this past year.
