Biography

Rachel Miller, MS, is a genomic data sharing analyst in the Genomic Epidemiology Branch (GEB) of the Epidemiology and Genomics Research Program (EGRP) in NCI's Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS). In this role, she works primarily to implement the 2015 Genomic Data Sharing Policy within DCCPS and also assists with NIH policies, such as the NIH Policy for Data Management and Sharing. This includes supporting and educating program directors who oversee grants that fall under these policies and helping track grantee policy compliance.

Ms. Miller is a bioinformatics analyst with ESAC, Inc. (ICF). Before coming to EGRP, Ms. Miller assisted in the maintenance of NCI’s Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC), a national effort to accelerate understanding of the molecular basis of cancer through the application of large-scale proteome and genome analysis. In this role, she was a member of CPTAC’s Data Coordination Center. Ms. Miller also assisted with clinical data harmonization.
