Biography

Christie Kaefer, MBA, leads a team responsible for assisting with information coordination and clearance requests for the Epidemiology and Genomics Research Program (EGRP). She develops and disseminates information about EGRP's scientific interests , funding opportunities, research resources, and scientific events to the extramural research community. Ms. Kaefer is also a Contracting Officer’s Representative for a contract that provides scientific and technical services for the Automated Self-Administered 24-hour (ASA24) Dietary Assessment Tool.

Ms. Kaefer first joined NCI in 2005 as a Presidential Management Fellow. Prior to joining HHS, Ms. Kaefer served for 8 years on Active Duty in the U.S. Army as a dietitian in a variety of clinical and management roles.
