In this role, Ms. Uy provides management support for EGRP activities, such as serving as coordinator for the NCI Cohort Consortium and assisting and providing recommendations for the enhancement and maintenance of the Cohort Consortium Project Hub database. She managed the Evidence-Based Cancer Control Programs (EBCCP) website, which provides program planners and public health practitioners with easy and immediate access to programmatic materials for use in a community or clinical setting. To promote EBCCP, she collaborated across federal agencies, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (The Community Guide) and the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (Healthy People 2030 Evidence Resources Tool). In 2015, she was also a team member of the HHS Ignite Project “Evidence-Based Intervention Implementation Accelerator” currently known as SPeeding Research-tested INTerventions (SPRINT), which helps behavioral researchers get their programs into real-world practice to have an impact on public health.
